We are located in Baulkham Hills and are a fully accredited NDIS approved service provider to participants in Greater Western Sydney, Hills District and Lower Blue Mountains. With many years of personal industry experience backed by highly experienced and qualified staff offering services in CORE – social, civic and community participation, personal training and support coordination. 180° has a long history and well-deserved reputation of been client focused. Trent Baker who is the owner and director of 180° pioneered the company setting out to help as many people as he could achieve their goals. Trent Baker started ‘180° Health & Fitness’ as a Personal Training business after turning his own life around. Trent had struggled with Mental Health and an unhealthy lifestyle, and after reaching an extremely low point and making massive changes in his life, he decided he wanted to assist others to do the same. When the NDIS was about to be launched, Trent realised that Personal Training was not funded, and advocated that it should be. He spoke about the benefits of physical activity on core strength, mobility, mental health and more. He was successful and became the first registered Personal Trainer under the NDIS. From there, he saw that he could do more – and 180° Disability & Mental Health Services was born. Our Vision To assist people to feel empowered and achieve their goals. Our Mission Our mission is to grow, as you grow. We aim to provide services led by lived experience that promote genuine inclusivity, leading by example. Our Values Innovation – We strive to think outside the box, and not offer the same old service models. Passion – Our company is led by lived experience of disability and mental health, and we strive to treat others as we expect to be treated. Courage – To get back up. We will not always be right, and we will learn as we grow.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Support Work providers cost in New South Wales?

Support Work rates in New South Wales follow the NDIS Price Guide limits. Costs vary based on the type of support, time of service (standard hours, evenings, weekends), worker qualifications, and travel requirements. Plan-managed and self-managed participants have greater flexibility in choosing providers and negotiating rates.

What's the difference between registered and unregistered NDIS providers?

NDIS registered providers have met quality and safety standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Agency-managed participants must use registered providers. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can choose either registered or unregistered providers, giving more flexibility in their choices.

Can I change my Support Work provider if it's not working out?

Yes, you have the right to change providers at any time. Review your service agreement for notice periods and discuss any concerns with your provider first. If you're unhappy with the service, you can end the agreement and find a new provider that better meets your needs.

How do I find Support Work providers who speak my language?

Use the Language filter at the top of this page to find providers offering support in your preferred language. New South Wales has providers available in many languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, and more. You can also specify language requirements when contacting providers directly.

What qualifications should Support Work providers have?

All NDIS workers must have a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check. Many hold qualifications like Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or relevant allied health degrees. Specialist providers may have additional training in specific disability types. Always ask providers about their qualifications and experience.
