Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026. How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information We Collect
NDIS Provider Finder collects information you provide directly when using our services. For participants and carers, this may include your name, email address, postcode, and the type of support you are searching for. For providers, we collect organisation name, ABN, contact details, service information, and billing details for paid plans. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, search terms entered, and time spent on the site.
We do not collect sensitive information such as health records, disability diagnoses, or NDIS plan details unless you voluntarily provide them through a contact form or inquiry. Any such information is treated with the highest level of care and is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the directory, respond to inquiries, process provider registrations, and send relevant communications such as account notifications and service updates. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to understand how the platform is used and to improve search results and recommendations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information with service providers who assist us in operating the platform (such as hosting and payment processors), under strict data processing agreements. These providers are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@ndisproviderfinder.net.au. We will respond to all privacy requests within 30 days. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
