NDIS Guide
Everything you need to know about the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia's national scheme for people with a significant and permanent disability. It provides funding for individualised support and services to help participants achieve their goals and live an ordinary life.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the NDIS, you must be aged under 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
How does NDIS funding work?
Once approved, you'll receive an NDIS plan with funding allocated across different support categories. You can choose how to manage your plan: self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed.
