It is still early days. I am still trying to work out why Drake Medox have had to hire new staff instead of outsourcing staff from elsewhere to provide services for my son. I am wondering if the new staff members hired are only providing care from my son or others as well. It has taken a long time to get the support workers we need. I thought the change over process would be quicker. However, we are really happy the with the staff that help my son.

It's always a consistent service with productive staff. Since January 2016, it's been a good journey and service with them!

I currently use Drake Medox for personal care support. They've been very helpful! Most staff are great. It's also extremely easy to get in touch with the organisation. No improvements come to mind. I would absolutely recommend them!

I find staff to be really good and enjoy the social get-togethers. I think they improve morale. They're also funded by Drake, which is great. They're very considerate. Also, they're are almost never holes in my roster, as they're great at filling it. They could potentially improve some communication, including among after-hour contacts and during the week. The running of my program has sometimes been clunky. But otherwise it's good.

SA Review They send carers to support my family member. So far they are good. I think they are good people. They take my family member out, and to the gym after their accident. They are good when I call and need to change anything, they're helpful. So far everything that I ask they do.

I have 24/7 support workers and they're all great. I'm there to get more independence and doing lots of cooking and cleaning. They're really good. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The routine is good, I get to know who is coming in next. I need to get on to more activities - I'd like to be going to mens shed and doing more things, keeping busy.

I joined Drake Medox 12 months ago after having had difficulties finding an Attendant Care Agency that could source & screen staff that could meet my individual needs. Drake Medox listened to my needs & after a few teething problems at the beginning, as expected, we have a very good working relationship. Our lines of communication are open & transparent even when it's hard to listen to or give. They understand my needs & the coordinators are there for me whenever I need them. Drake Medox coordinators are friendly & dedicated to making my attendant care program work & I hope our relationship continues to grow & develop. The main issue Drake Medox & I am experiencing at the moment is finding enough staff who are skilled in disability care, applicants with English as their first language and who are NOT International students. The other issue I have is more of a suggestion about how new attendants get paid for training shifts (shadow shifts). I think that ACWs should only be paid for training shifts after they have worked for a set number of hours, or shifts on the program that they have been trained for. That way ACWs must decide sooner if they want to continue training for the client's program, reduce the turnover of staff who don't stay on a program after having had the training, save time & energy invested in the specific skilling of new staff. I am really happy with the Agency, the help & relationship I have with Drake Medox.
