Southern Light Respite is a registered NDIS provider offering short-term accommodation, respite care and everyday supports to participants in Hobart. Its respite and short-term accommodation stays take place at the provider's own Hobart property, a home-style setting with river views, outdoor decks, a BBQ area, a veggie patch, a pizza oven, indoor games and a modern kitchen, where participants are supported with daily living tasks, personal care and meals and can take part in social and recreational activities.
In-home support is delivered in the participant's own home with help for daily tasks and routines, and community access support assists participants to join community activities, social outings and skill-building experiences. The provider also runs a monthly social club with outings such as ten-pin bowling, mini golf and pub lunches, open to participants, carers, families and friends.
