From the provider: Hello there! My name is Kayleigh, and I've been a registered nurse for the past 4 years, a journey filled with learning, growth, and the opportunity to make a real difference. My experience has deeply connected me to the needs of individuals within the NDIS program, where I've been able to apply my nursing skills to support, empower, and uplift those I work with. I believe that everyone deserves to feel supported and understood, especially when it comes to their health and wellbeing. That's why I'm passionate about using my nursing abilities to not only provide care but also to advocate for, educate, and assist individuals in navigating their health journeys. Whether it's managing medications, assisting with daily health routines, or simply being a reassuring presence, I'm here to make a positive impact in the lives of those I care for. Outside of nursing, I find joy and balance in my hobbies. I love embracing the outdoors, whether it's a peaceful hike to clear my mind or a camping adventure to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Reading has always been a gateway to other worlds for me, and painting allows me to express my creativity and emotions in a colourful and impactful way. I'm all about building genuine connections and sharing experiences that inspire and encourage us all. If you're looking for someone who's not just a nurse but also a friend and advocate, I'd love to chat and learn more about you.

Cultural & Language Fit

Victoria's diverse community means you can find providers who speak your language and understand your cultural background.

Availability & Flexibility

Ensure the provider can accommodate your preferred schedule, whether weekdays, weekends, or evenings.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do Nursing Services providers cost in Victoria?

Nursing Services rates in Victoria follow the NDIS Price Guide limits. Costs vary based on the type of support, time of service (standard hours, evenings, weekends), worker qualifications, and travel requirements. Plan-managed and self-managed participants have greater flexibility in choosing providers and negotiating rates.

What's the difference between registered and unregistered NDIS providers?

NDIS registered providers have met quality and safety standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Agency-managed participants must use registered providers. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can choose either registered or unregistered providers, giving more flexibility in their choices.

Can I change my Nursing Services provider if it's not working out?

Yes, you have the right to change providers at any time. Review your service agreement for notice periods and discuss any concerns with your provider first. If you're unhappy with the service, you can end the agreement and find a new provider that better meets your needs.

How do I find Nursing Services providers who speak my language?

Use the Language filter at the top of this page to find providers offering support in your preferred language. Victoria has providers available in many languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, and more. You can also specify language requirements when contacting providers directly.

What qualifications should Nursing Services providers have?

All NDIS workers must have a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check. Many hold qualifications like Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or relevant allied health degrees. Specialist providers may have additional training in specific disability types. Always ask providers about their qualifications and experience.
