Accessing the right supports as a young person with a disability shouldn’t feel this hard. Too often, young people and their families face confusing systems, endless paperwork, and providers who don’t truly understand their needs. This can leave young people waiting too long, missing out on opportunities, and feeling disconnected from their community. At Young Leaders Youth Services, we’re here to change that. We specialise in youth mentoring and disability support for participants aged 7–26 of all abilities.
Our focus is on empowering young people, helping them build life skills, independence, and confidence while ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. How we support young people: We listen to their story, strengths, and goals. We create a personalised plan that includes both disability supports and mentoring. We walk alongside them, providing consistent in-home supports, community access, and guidance to overcome barriers. The difference we make: Young People: Gain independence, build new skills, and explore opportunities at school, in work, and in the community.
Families & Carers: Feel peace of mind knowing their child is supported with safe, reliable, and meaningful connections. Support Coordinators & Stakeholders: Benefit from a trusted partner who delivers positive outcomes and wraparound support. No young person should feel left out or unsupported. At YLYS, we ensure that disability support and youth mentoring work hand in hand to create real opportunities, safe connections, and brighter futures.
