We are a registered NDIS provider delivering trauma-informed, neuro-affirming Positive Behaviour Support across Western Australia. At Waves, we believe support should feel safe, respectful, and genuinely affirming — grounded not only in clinical expertise, but in lived experience. Many of our team are neurodivergent ourselves, as well as parents and carers. We understand the realities of burnout, navigating systems that were never designed with neurodivergent people in mind, and the overwhelming impact that sudden changes, sensory demands, and daily pressures can have.
Because of this, we approach every person without assumptions. We know that behind every behaviour is a human need, and that the “small” things in life are often anything but small. We provide specialised support for individuals and families navigating complex intersections of disability, mental health, trauma, and the justice system. Our team has experience supporting people through incarceration and community re-entry, dual diagnosis and substance use challenges, placement instability, school refusal, caregiver burnout, and high-pressure system navigation.
We understand that when life becomes layered and overwhelming, standard support models often fall short. At Waves, we work alongside you with compassion, professional advocacy, and practical support that is responsive to real life. Whether supporting someone through mental health crises, educational breakdown, housing instability, or justice involvement, we remain focused on creating safer, more sustainable pathways forward. We offer face-to-face support across Greater Perth, Kellerberrin, Perth Hills, Dianella and surrounding areas, as well as Telehealth services throughout Western Australia.
