The Good Meal Co

I ordered meals for my disabled, elderly, blind, mother, this company left her meals about 150 meters from her home at the complex mailboxes (she lives in a townhouse) in the sun on a 41 degree day. They told me it’s too hard for the drivers to deliver to a person’s door and it is their policy the drivers can just leave the box of food on the road at the complex mailbox-if they had bothered to tell me that I would not have placed the order. My mum lives in a townhouse so there are no access issues. My mum weighs 41kg and is profoundly disabled and cannot carry a box of food and had no ability to carry the box to her home and even if she could she had no idea the box had been delivered. This company did not care and my mum, who is on a pension, paid for 10 meals that could not be eaten given they were left sitting in the sun until a neighbour found them.

From day one i have had nothing but trouble with this company. food packages broken open wrapped in gladwrap, some split open and just left and most recently over 200 dollars worth of food just left on the ground for me to find without a knock or door bell. they sent an sms saying it was here at 11.15 but it was not. because the driver took a photo of when he DID deliver it the company would not take responsibilty for the item. they were delivered sometime after 4pm and found the next day. i was told that maybe i should go to another company

Great tasting food at a reasonable ndis and co-contribution cost. Good customer service
