I highly recommend road to recovery. They have been working with my daughter who has an intellectual disability for a couple of months now and have been amazing. The girl who takes my daughter through her programs is caring and very respectful. They are very attentive to my daughters needs and make sure her program is suited to how she is feeling on the day.

My 18 year old son with autism absolutely loves when road to recovery comes to visit! The team are always so happy and caring, it’s so convenient they come to him in the comfort of his own home. Not only does he benefit physically from their programs, but it also allows him to socialise and benefits him mentally. I have seen big improvements since road to recovery started seeing my son. Highly recommend

I have been with road to recovery for 4 weeks now. The team are fantastic. I sought out an exercise physiologist as I was struggling to get out of my chair and walk around by myself. I am so glad I found road to recovery. The therapist is a very caring therapist and ensures his team are the same. Always going that extra mile to ensure I am ok. Thank you.

I've been working with the team at Road to Recovery for about 6 weeks now and already I'm seeing progress in my ability. I'm walking about with a lot more confidence and don't need to be in my wheelchair as much. They always go the extra mile in our sessions and it's very convenient that they come to my home!

I've met the exercise physio a few times. My mum just loves him. He gets her up and moving and the exercise has helped her. She's not going to run a marathon, but she's going well and he's a really nice guy and goes above and beyond.

They're terrific, I've been using them at least a year. They are patient and understanding, they have a level of skill that wouldn't expect normally. They're mostly on time – they change the time day-to-day and the time will change according to the program they are running. But they always tell me when they are going to come. I've been looked after well. When I'm tired, they slow the program down and if I'm feeling good, we'll speed it up. They will always check in to see how I'm feeling before we start.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

Thanks for the feedback Ian! You're too kind!

Road to Recovery is an amazing organisation! My Mum has Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. After developing an acute kidney infection and being hospitalised and bedridden for 1 month, her Parkinson's symptoms rapidly increased. She was unable to stand, or walk and her body needed intense exercise in order to regain function. Road to recovery has done an incredible job in individualising Mum's care in a very gentle and caring way. He has kept me fully informed of Mum's progress and when he has her visits planned. Mum is now standing, has regained a lot of strength and only last week, she walked again with a frame - something, only 2 months ago, we thought was impossible! I would highly recommend Road to Recovery for anyone who needs rehabilitation within their own environment - it's a very professional, caring service.

I've been using the physio for the past few months. I do a lot of balancing, foot work and exercises. I think it's helping – and keeps me active. The physiotherapist is a very nice young person – we work very hard together. She's very kind, and very thorough. As soon as she arrives, we get straight into work.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

Hi Colleen, Thanks for your positive feedback, its much appreciated! Its been great to see your improvements over the past few months! Keep it up! - Joe

I've had physiotherapy for about a year after a hip operation. The physio who works with me is very good, very helpful – he gives me different exercises including my hip and balance. I'm very satisfied with him. He comes to me and it's helped me a lot with things. He's very positive and cheery.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

Thanks Eileen, I really appreciate your kind words. It's been lovely to work alongside with you, - Joe

My brother has been using Road to Recovery for a couple of months. He's found Road to Recovery fantastic – they come in a 3-4 times a week. They're great, they are chatty and friendly, and make jokes together which is great for his morale. They have really pushed him to get up and about and he's made such amazing progress with them. The way they are talking to him and pushing him is absolutely wonderful, we're extremely happy with them and I couldn't speak more highly of them.

Road to Recovery are absolutely fantastic. I like everything about them. I like their punctuality and the program they tailor to me. I also like their ability to adjust to my schedule if I have another appointment. They can't do enough for me – I'm really happy. I don't like doing the exercise they give me because they hurt but no one likes those. I can't think of enough good things to mention about Road to Recovery, they are just magnificent. It's pretty hard to find something that I don't like about them. In fact, there is zero, zilch, nothing. I couldn't possible ask for more than what I'm getting.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

You're very welcome Bill, We look forward helping you continue to reach your goals in the future!

I am writing on behalf of my husband. I am his main carer. Not only has Road to Recovery helped my husband to maintain and strengthen his physical health; they have given him the confidence to regain his independence after multiple health problems and surgery. Road to Recovery have organised an Occupational Therapist to liaise with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs to get equipment to help him access the community. I work for an NDIS service provider who use this service to provide hydrotherapy for several of our clients. I would particularly like to thank the team who come to our home three times a week. I don’t know where my husband would be with out their professional help and support in regaining his physical health. They have certainly set him on the Road to Recovery.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

Thanks for the positive feedback Jo! Its been great to see such improvement with Noel and help get him back on his feet and back into the community.

The Road to Recovery service is very good. The staff that work with me are friendly and they go at my pace which is very good for elderly people, There's no big push and you don't feel that you are being hassled. They seem to understand. The staff are always on time and let me know if they can't make it on time. They keep in touch, which is important. There isn't anything I'd like to improve about the service. They are pleasant to be with and I appreciate them coming to work with me. Their methods are working, slowly working.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

Hi Marie, Thanks for leaving us such a lovely review! It's fantastic to see the improvements you've been making due to a little hard work!

I think Road to Recovery is very, very good. The young fella that comes to see me has taught me a lot. He's very pleasant and a nice young fella. He's very good. Everything is fine. I wouldn't change anything. I like doing the exercises outside and going for a walk. I think it's worthwhile and it's all fine just as it is.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

I'm finding that the treatment from Road to Recovery been a great help. I'm 90 years young and the exercises they have been giving me have really been helping. I like the chappy that I have coming to see me, he's very nice and very polite. He's very gentlemanly. I know my sore spots and he's trying to work on those spots to try and strengthen me. He's giving me more confidence to straighten my posture and to walk better with my walker. I think it's helping me live at home on my own for even longer. He gives me time on every exercise in the half hour, so long on each pose. I'm not tired when he tells me to move on the next exercise. Overall, I'm very happy with the treatment from Road to Recovery.

Response from Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology

Thanks for the positive feedback Bill! I hope to be getting around as well as you at that age!
