Plan Hero is an independent NDIS plan management provider established in 2021 by Bianca Shapiro and Nicole Gamerov, who had worked in the disability sector since founding MyCareSpace in 2017. Plan management is the only service the organisation offers: provider invoices are processed and typically paid within five business days, records are kept for NDIS audits, budgets are tracked and monthly statements are issued. Participants deal with a named plan manager rather than a call centre, and can follow budgets, approve invoices and check claims in a self-service portal and mobile app. The team works from Australia and supports people using registered and unregistered providers.
