As support workers, we are able to assess your oral health status and needs, devise an oral health care plan, and refer you to appropriate dental practitioners for a consultation and dental treatment. Improving the cleanliness of your mouth will increase your sense of wellbeing and quality of life. As trainers - Oral Health Care Training and Education - we offer oral health training and education for health workers in the aged, home and disability sectors.
We work collaboratively to improve oral health outcomes for older Australians through research, knowledge and skill development. Our team at OHCT&E is passionate and keen to conduct translational research by consulting, educating and supporting multidisciplinary health workers to improve oral health care for aged persons in urban, regional and rural areas around Australia. With combined skill sets, OHCT&E has the experience and expertise as clinicians, teachers and trainers as well as inspirational mentors and motivators.
