Kim at My Counselling and Me is an experienced and supportive counsellor who provides strategies to support you using a person-centred approach. This means you are respected and valued as a person, not as a condition to be treated. Kim can assist you through diverse issues such as loss and grief (including pet loss), managing stress and emotional regulation, and can assist you with managing anxiety, depression, illness, life-limiting conditions and issues involved with relationships, sexual identity and voluntary assisted dying (VAD).
Kim provides a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTIQ community. Kim is a registered NDIS provider and counsellor who provides therapeutic support. Counselling is a capacity-building and capacity-enhancing therapeutic service that offers more than just emotional support; it aims to help you achieve your goals, such as becoming more independent. Kim is an experienced counsellor, holding a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Kim has a Masters in Palliative Care and qualified as a Registered Nurse.
