Mindful Occupational Therapy is a Melbourne based mobile service operating in and around the Manningham council area (inner-east). It is run by paediatric occupational therapist, Melissa Earl, who has been working in the field for the past 10 years. She has experience working with children from 0-18 years and with varied diagnoses including: * Autism Spectrum Disorder * Attention Deficit Disorder / Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder * Developmental Delay· Intellectual Delay * Cerebral Palsy * Chromosomal Conditions * Down Syndrome * Coordination Disorders * Pathological Demand Avoidance * Sensory Processing Difficulties She has also worked with children who have had difficulties in the following areas: * Sleeping * Restricted Diet * Toileting * Fine Motor Deficits (including difficulties with handwriting legibility) * Gross Motor Deficits * Complex Behaviours * Social Dynamics * Emotional and Self-Regulation Mindful OT operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
We work with families who are: NDIS self-managed, NDIS plan-managed, self-funded or via Medicare rebate (GP care plan or MHCP). As intervention is tailored to meet the families’ goals intervention can occur in the home, child care, kindergarten, school or community.
