Kare ONE is a privately owned company, established in 2005, that provides homecare, personal care and respite care to older people, people living with disabilities, family carers, people recovering at home after hospital or illness, and families with children who have special needs. It supports people in the south and south eastern regions of Melbourne. Services include personal and attendant care such as help with showering, dressing and grooming, home care covering cleaning, cooking, shopping, laundry and bill paying, live-in care where full-time support is required, and respite care when family carers are unavailable or need a break.
Companionship is offered at home and on outings and activities, and the team also assists with home safety through simple adaptations, modifications and maintenance, including grabrails, ramps and made-to-measure chair and bed raisers, along with independent living aids and equipment.
