Intereach is a not-for-profit community organisation formed in 1973 as the Deniliquin Council for Social Development. It works across the Riverina-Murray region and parts of central and northern Victoria, covering 38 local government areas with more than 460 staff and 120 volunteers. For people with disability it delivers NDIS Local Area Coordination for those aged 9 to 65, helping participants understand, access and use their plans, and the early childhood approach for children with developmental delay or disability. It also runs community transport, including an Aboriginal driver project, for people who find travel to appointments and social activities difficult.
Support Coordination
Local Area Coordinators help people aged 9 to 65 with disability, their carers and families to understand, access and use the NDIS, and to connect with community, mainstream and peer supports.
