Embracing Arms is founded by two sisters with a shared vision to change the narrative around disability support. While many see this work as a job, we see it as a privilege and an opportunity to enrich lives by empowering each person’s unique abilities. Our passion comes from personal experience, growing up with two brothers diagnosed with autism and an intellectual disability. Navigating the challenges of finding the right supports for them gave us a deep understanding of what true, person-centred care should look like. Over the past 20 years, we have gained invaluable knowledge and insight which drives our commitment to create meaningful change within the disability industry.
