BrainLink supports people living with a brain injury, their families and carers by connecting them to the care, services, and community they need. Whether you are a person living with a brain injury, a caregiver supporting a family member or friend, or simply looking to understand the facts about brain injuries, we can assist you. Conditions include stroke, head injuries, brain tumour and progressive neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Motor Neurone disease and Huntington’s disease.
BrainLink, as the first point of call for families, has an all-inclusive approach and crossover of services. BrainLink provides NDIS Support Coordination to assist participants living with an acquired brain injury to understand and utlilise their NDIS funding. Our expert Support Coordination team has extensive knowledge of specialised services to connect you with the best support tailored to your unique needs. We work collaboratively with your team to ensure that support services are effective and aligned with your goals.
Some of the key functions of this program include: NDIS planning and budgeting, connecting participants to suitable supports, conducting plan reviews and submitting reports to NDIS, supporting you during times of change. BrainLink also runs a Carer Support Program for individuals in Victoria who care for someone with a brain injury or degenerative neurological condition. Our carer support team is equipped to guide you through your personal journey.
The program is free to join, and all activities are provided at no cost. The program involves educational workshops, retreats and social gatherings bringing the local carer community to provide relief and share experiences. The BrainLink Carer Support Program services metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Regional Hume and Gippsland regions. To be eligible your must be: an unpaid carer, live in metropolitan or regional Victoria, not currently registered to another carer support program.
