Blossom Community Care

I have done several essential services for clients and gardens for disabled people. The process has been a pleasure to deal with through the experienced team at Blossoms Community Care, whom I subcontracted my time to prior to the Melbourne Lockdowns and hopefully will do more in the future once it's permitted.

The service from Blossom Community Care is great. They assist me with my shopping or take me out for a cup coffee. I really like the team at Blossom.

My support worker Jenny does a great job and I am very happy with the service that I'm getting. My support worker is friendly and makes me feel comfortable and happy.

The support Coordinator Mak provides a good service and makes sure that all the support given is compatible to my needs. Mak is always friendly and easy to talk to and nothing is a problem for him.

Cannot be happier than the Support work I am getting through Blossom Community Care. Wish to highlight the following areas of support work being provided: Flexible arrangement with the Support Worker where he makes himself available as per my availability so that there is no missing of shifts and the pending works are not postponed. The support worker is highly adaptable to change and will happily make amends and changes depending upon my needs and requirements . During the interaction with the support worker he is more of a family member now rather than a third party support worker which helps me confide in him and share a lot of personal and non personal information as I fully trust he will maintain absolute confidentiality and privacy of my personal information. My support worker also helps me so that my injuries and medical conditions do not aggravate and am able to maintain my health and well being. such a behavior and conduct is being displayed by the support worker as he has the right training and induction given to him by the organisation. Given an opportunity I would recommend my support worker to work both new and existing NDIS clients so that also benefit from the services of a trained and competent support worker trained by Blossom Community care. My support worker gives adequate respect to my immediate family members and friends and they also speak well of him after their initial and continued meetings with him. My support worker also takes me for personal entertainment at places where I want to go so that I can keep myself entertained and amused to satisfy my social needs too. My support worker also takes me to temples where not only can I pray but also enjoy the local meals prepared as per my taste and culturally relevant.

I wish to apprise the Group Activities I have been engaging in with the help of my Support Coordinator and Support Worker at Blossom Community Care. 1. As I live alone with No family support I need a lot of social interaction so that I may be humanly active and Blossom has helped me in achieving the same by making me participate in the following Group Activities. 1. Taking me out for Prayer meetings in Temples and other Places of worship where not only can I maintain my spiritual and religious connection with the creator but also develop my skills of love , compassion, brotherliness,devoid of anger, hatred and revenge and help me live a better life as a better human being. 2. Taking me out to Men's Shed locally where not only I meet men living in similar experiences but also learn from them of various skills in managing my challenging life. 3. Participate in group meditation programs to derive positive energy from groups who are positively inclined in life and are taking steps in life to bring proactive changes in their life and encouraging others to do the same to have better and fruitful outcomes in their lives. 4. Blossom Community care has given me full freedom to exercise my judgement and will in pursuing the group activities I feel are helpful to me and have not ever questioned my will in participating in the same. 5. I would recommend Blossom Community care to anyone in achieving their Group activities goals and outcomes as one and all will get full support from the organisation as a provider in fulfilling the same with no questions asked.

I am delighted with the Support Coordination experience with Blossom Community care and in support of my claim want to highlight the following parameters . 1. Support Coordination is fully in line with my perceived and Given goals in the approved NDIA plan. 2.There is utmost coordination and synchronicity among st the various services I receive from Blossom Community care like gardening , house cleaning ,personal care, medical appointments , grocery shopping etc that there has been no instance where I have missed any of these services for want of support coordination. 3. In an event when a service may not be available at a given time I get at least 2 days notice in advance that the specified service may not be available and an alternate date is fixed simultaneously so that I may be able to plan my day and week accordingly, which only shows the foresight and vision of the support Coordinator who gives full weight age to my independence and decision making in changed circumstances. 4.To cite a specific example I recently was fatally attacked which resulted in a brain injury requiring major brain surgery. My support coordinator say that I had additional needs due to brain injury and a changed circumstances form along with a review application form was instantly lodged with NDIA with my consent where not only additional needs were approved but also additional funds were approved by NDIA to meet and fulfill my additional needs as identified.I am fully indebted to my Support Coordinator who took the initiative and timely action to get a desirable positive outcome for me . 5 In spite of exceptional service being provided by them they periodically ask for my written feedback and suggestions for improving their support coordination services so that they may be able to provide better support coordination both to me and other existing and new clients. 6 . If I had to recommend an existing or New NDIA Clients when deciding to transition from an existing provider to a new Provider , Blossom Community Care is a one stop shop where all the support coordination Needs will be fulfilled with Utmost satisfaction and Transparency.
