Choosing the right Support Coordinator can make a real difference to how confident and supported you feel when navigating your NDIS plan. My goal is to make the process clearer, easier and less overwhelming, while ensuring you receive the support you truly need. I bring over 17 years of experience in Community Services, supporting people from many different backgrounds and life situations. Throughout my career I have worked closely with individuals and families to help them access services, overcome barriers and build more independent and fulfilling lives.
I understand that every person’s journey is unique, and I always approach my work with patience, respect and genuine care. Alongside my experience, I hold both a Certificate IV and a Diploma in Community Services, which have given me a strong foundation in advocacy, support planning and connecting people with the right services. What also shapes my work is lived experience. I am the parent of two neurodiverse teenagers, which means I understand firsthand many of the challenges families can face when navigating disability supports.
This experience has given me a deeper level of empathy and understanding, and I know how important it is to feel heard, respected and supported. I have a strong knowledge of the NDIS system and processes and work closely with participants to help them understand their plans, connect with the right providers and make the most of the supports available to them. Advocacy is a big part of my role. I believe every participant deserves to have their voice heard and their needs respected.
If something isn’t working, I will help you communicate with providers and ensure your supports are aligned with your goals. I also have strong experience in budget management and maximising NDIS funding, helping participants use their plans effectively so they can access the supports that will make the biggest difference in their lives. My business is called Above & Beyond Coordination and Support Services because that is exactly the level of care and dedication I bring to the people I support.
I genuinely believe participants deserve someone who is willing to go the extra mile to help them navigate the system, solve challenges and achieve their goals. My approach is always person-centred and holistic. I focus on the whole person, not just the plan. Everyone has different goals, strengths and needs, and I work alongside participants and their families to build supports that truly reflect what matters most to them. I’m known for being hands-on, solution-focused and creative when problem-solving.
When challenges arise, I work hard to find practical solutions and new opportunities so participants can continue moving forward. Strong communication is also very important to me. I aim to build trusting relationships with participants, families and providers so everyone feels comfortable, informed and supported. I understand that reaching out for support can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve had difficult experiences in the past or are unsure where to start.
My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, supportive and empowering. I take the time to truly listen, understand what matters most to you, and work alongside you at your own pace so you feel confident and supported every step of the way. If you are looking for a Support Coordinator who is experienced, approachable and genuinely invested in your journey, I would love the opportunity to work with you. I would love to connect.
