Provider FAQs
Common questions from providers about listing, profiles, and getting the most from our directory.
Do I need to be NDIS registered to list?
No. Both registered and unregistered NDIS providers can list on our directory. Your registration status is displayed on your profile so participants can see it. Some participants — particularly those who are self-managed or plan-managed — actively seek out unregistered providers, so having a listing is still valuable regardless of your registration status.
How long does approval take?
New provider registrations are reviewed within 2 business days. We verify your ABN and check that your profile information is complete and accurate. Once approved, your listing goes live immediately. If we need additional information, we will contact you by email before making a decision.
Can I update my profile after it goes live?
Yes. You can log in to your provider dashboard at any time to update your services, contact details, service areas, languages, and description. Changes go live within a few hours. We encourage providers to keep their profiles current — participants rely on directory information to decide who to contact, so accurate details lead to better quality inquiries.
What does a Premium listing include?
Premium listings include everything in the Standard plan plus featured placement at the top of relevant search results, a verified provider badge, review management tools, and a monthly report showing profile views and inquiry trends. Premium providers are also eligible for inclusion in our curated category guides and email recommendations sent to participants in their area.
How do participants contact me through the directory?
Participants contact you directly using the information on your profile — phone, email, or website link. We do not act as an intermediary for inquiries. This means the quality of your profile directly affects the quality of the inquiries you receive, so we recommend providing a clear description of your services and who you support.
