CoCo Support Services

Respite Accommodation

NDIS Registered

From the provider: ✨ CoCo Support Services ✨ Boutique NDIS Accommodation | STR (Short Term Respite) & SIL (Supported Independent Living) Welcome to CoCo Support Services, where disability support meets style, heart, and lived experience. We are a boutique NDIS provider offering Short Term Respite (STR) and Supported Independent Living (SIL) in thoughtfully designed homes across the Geelong region. At CoCo, we believe that the environment people live in matters just as much as the support they receive. That’s why our homes are intentionally curated to feel calm, beautiful and welcoming. Our approach is simple — support should feel human, empowering and genuinely enjoyable, not clinical or institutional. 🌿 What we offer 🌿 At CoCo Support Services we provide personalised NDIS supports including: Short Term Respite (STR) stays Supported Independent Living (SIL) Community participation and lifestyle supports Tailored support for psychosocial disability, autism and intellectual disability Support for people with complex needs Our respite experiences are well known within the NDIS community for feeling more like a retreat than traditional respite, giving participants the opportunity to relax, recharge and enjoy meaningful experiences in a supportive environment. 💫 What makes CoCo different 💫 CoCo was created with a vision of raising the bar in the disability sector. We combine professional, highly experienced support with beautiful environments and a warm team culture. What sets CoCo apart: Boutique, thoughtfully styled homes A strong focus on lifestyle, wellbeing and enjoyment Nearly two decades of frontline disability sector experience behind our service A passionate team who genuinely care about the people we support A reputation as a go-to provider for NDIS respite experiences Participants and families often tell us that CoCo feels different — more personal, more thoughtful and more supportive. 🤝 Individualised support 🤝 No two people are the same, and neither is the support we provide. We take time to understand each participant’s interests, personality, daily routines, support needs and goals for independence and wellbeing. Support is then shaped around the individual so that every participant feels respected, safe and empowered within their environment. 🌈 Creating meaningful opportunities 🌈 At CoCo we believe support should focus on living well, not just care. Participants are encouraged to explore activities that build confidence, independence and connection, such as: Community outings Creative and recreational activities Social connection Relaxing respite experiences Learning everyday living skills 💗 Our philosophy 💗 The name CoCo stands for Community + Collaboration. We believe the best outcomes happen when participants, families, support workers and the wider disability community come together to create a strong village around each person. Our goal is simple: to create spaces where people with disability feel proud of where they stay, supported by people who genuinely care. ✨ If you are looking for disability accommodation that combines professional support, beautiful environments and genuine connection, we would love to welcome you to CoCo Support Services.

CODA Auslan Services

Advocacy and Peer Support

From the provider: CODA Auslan Services is a business run by Jade, a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult) who grew up in the deaf community and experienced first hand the unjust treatment and daily challenges that her deaf and hard-of-hearing friends and family faced every day. Despite the integration of the deaf community into the NDIS, the support available to help understand and properly navigate the NDIS planning process was severely lacking. This resulted in the ubiquitous occurrences of members of the deaf community not receiving sufficient funding to support their lifestyle and needs. Since 2020, there has been a rise by 400% in AAT (Administrative Appeals Tribunal) applications to review insufficient funding for interpreters or assistive technologies. There is also a near complete lack of advocacy groups for the deaf community to help them navigate this system. We don't find this acceptable. So we have decided to use our skills and our knowledge of the deaf community and the legal sector to assist the deaf community with preparing and presenting their updated needs and goals during a plan review, and helping those who were wrongfully denied funding appeal the decision. Frequently Asked Questions

How much do NDIS Services providers cost in Victoria?

NDIS Services rates in Victoria follow the NDIS Price Guide limits. Costs vary based on the type of support, time of service (standard hours, evenings, weekends), worker qualifications, and travel requirements. Plan-managed and self-managed participants have greater flexibility in choosing providers and negotiating rates.

What's the difference between registered and unregistered NDIS providers?

NDIS registered providers have met quality and safety standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Agency-managed participants must use registered providers. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can choose either registered or unregistered providers, giving more flexibility in their choices.

Can I change my NDIS Services provider if it's not working out?

Yes, you have the right to change providers at any time. Review your service agreement for notice periods and discuss any concerns with your provider first. If you're unhappy with the service, you can end the agreement and find a new provider that better meets your needs.

How do I find NDIS Services providers who speak my language?

Use the Language filter at the top of this page to find providers offering support in your preferred language. Victoria has providers available in many languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, and more. You can also specify language requirements when contacting providers directly.

What qualifications should NDIS Services providers have?

All NDIS workers must have a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check. Many hold qualifications like Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or relevant allied health degrees. Specialist providers may have additional training in specific disability types. Always ask providers about their qualifications and experience.
