Accessibility
Our commitment to building an inclusive platform for all Australians.
Our Commitment
NDIS Provider Finder is built for everyone, including people with disability. We are committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across our platform. This is not just a compliance target — it reflects our core belief that the people who need this directory most should never be excluded from using it.
We conduct regular accessibility audits and act on findings promptly. Our development team considers accessibility at every stage of building new features, and we welcome feedback from users who experience any barrier when using our site.
Accessibility Features
The platform is designed to work with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom settings up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. All images include descriptive alternative text. Form fields are labelled clearly, and error messages are descriptive to help users correct mistakes without confusion.
Colour contrast across the site meets WCAG AA requirements. Interactive elements have clear focus indicators. We avoid using colour alone to convey information, and all video content will include captions and transcripts when introduced in future.
Provide Feedback
If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using NDIS Provider Finder, please tell us. Your feedback directly informs how we improve the platform. Email us at support@ndisproviderfinder.net.au with a description of the issue, the page you were on, and the assistive technology or browser you were using.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and resolve identified issues as quickly as possible. We are grateful to the disability community for helping us build a platform that works for everyone.
