Walked Talk supports people with and without disability, and their families, to build the motivation and life strategies for a fulfilling and independent life. Its counsellors offer counselling and positive behaviour support, including functional behaviour assessments and strategies that reduce the need for restrictive practices. The team provides speech pathology for children, adolescents and adults, covering speech, language and literacy, social communication, AAC, voice, fluency, swallowing and mealtime safety, with sessions in the home, community, school or online.
Walked Talk also offers NDIS support coordination, psychosocial recovery coaching and plan management to help participants understand and use their plans, connect with services and manage their funding, along with early childhood key worker support and school leaver employment supports.
