We use Virtual Reality Headsets and Immersive Environments to enhance traditional talk therapy modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema and Exposure Therapy. Virtual Reality systems combined with psychotherapy have been empirically proven to effectively treat a wide range of psychological disorders. Our tailored psychotherapy programs can target specific issues, activate behavioural change, enhance psychological flexibility, and improve mental performance.
For NDIS Clients we can assist with working towards a wide range of goals such as increasing independence, by teaching and practicing skills and strategies in VR environments to prepare for Real Life experiences. These include but are not limited to; - Leaving the home - Going shopping - Driving a car - Catching public transport - Attending job interviews - Attending medical appointments VR Therapy is also effective for the following symptoms and conditions; - General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Phobias - Depression, Mood Disorders - ASD, ADHD, OCD, PTSD - Pain Management and Insomnia - Eating Disorders and Substance Abuse - Relaxation Training, Social Skills Training We are able to offer Private Health Rebates, as well as accepting NDIS clients.
