Who We Are Verity care services is a Registered Service provider. Our vision is to include participants in building a community that is inclusive where everyone is treated as an individual with respect and strengthen their relationships. We also want to empower participants to take ownership of their life to the fullest and produce a measurable outcome in a person’s quality of life. We also strive to serve and strengthen the quality of life that every one of our participants wants, by providing an experienced and qualified worker in making sure they care for them and provide professional person-centered care for our participants with respect.
How We're Different Our team is made up of an assembly of imaginative and energetic caregivers. We will support all participants with any kind of disability and will also support them with any kind of funding they have in any way they want to fund themselves. We aim to provide high quality care with integrity, accountability, and diligence. Using a person-centered approach, we work closely with individuals, their families, carers’ and guardians to assist them in developing an individualized support plan, based on their goals, aspirations and unique circumstances.
We are currently offering a promotion of up tp10 km free transport every week for the first four(4) weeks. What We Offer Supported Independent Living (SIL) Verity care services SIL program is centred around providing a homely environment to participants and steering away from some of the more clinical approaches. We work very closely with families and participants to ensure that individuals are matched correctly, and support plans are modelled around individual goals and participant interests.
Short Term Accommodation (STA)/ Respite Our STA service supports people with disability to have a short stay away from their usual home, while providing planned respite for families caring for a person with disability. Our service is flexible and designed to be responsive to each family’s circumstances. Transport Staffs at Verity care services support individuals to access the community, attend appointments and social events, use public transport, travel safely in their own vehicles and get out and about safely.
In-Home Support Our staff provide support to manage personal care, medication, and domestic duties in the home. Support can also be provided to assist individuals to undertake these activities if or when required, including social interactions for those who struggle to leave their home. All support is provided in a respectful, kind, and dignified manner. Community Access and Social Support Our skilled outreach workers can support you to attend activities, appointments and social visits to family and friends.
In addition to this, they can support you to find activities and social programs based on your interests or pursuit of furthering your skill development. These activities could include golf, fishing, bushwalking/hiking, going to the movies, short courses or study and volunteer work. We match our clients with staff who have common interests so that each experience is friendly, fun and something you can look forward to with confidence. Verity care staffs support social facilitation and assist you to meet people, make friends and build relationships and networks.
Life Skills Development Verity care provide highly trained staff to assist participants with things like learning how to catch public transport, cooking meals, budgeting or even just scheduling your week. We work with the participant to ensure they are working with staff that are compatible to their needs, set goals and put plan in place to achieve them. Assist-Life Stage, Transition Transitioning into a new life stage doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
The team at Verity care Services embraces the fact that change is inevitable. We help you get through these changes and transition in a prepared manner. We support participants to plan for change, including developing strategies to cope with the stress that change can have. Our approach is individualized for each participant, taking into account their abilities and needs. All of this is to help participants achieve their goals both in the short term and long term.
Our assistance with life change transition includes short and long-term supports. The focus is on strengthening the participant’s ability to coordinate their supports, and to assist them to live comfortably and participate in their community. High intensity personal care Verity care services provides high intensity personal care to participants who exhibit complex behaviors due medical diagnoses such as dementia (including early onset), Huntington’s disease and intellectual disability.
We have experienced support workers to support those with challenging behaviours that require intensive positive behaviour support and/or continual 24/7 active support due to high medical needs. Medium term accommodation Verity care services provides Medium Term Accommodation under NDIS funding if a participant is waiting for home modifications or assistive technology. This interim accommodation can reduce long hospital stays, while waiting for long term accommodation or for the completion of modifications in your home.
