Specialised Speech Pathology is by far the best - they have made great inroads with my son. Hannah has managed to engage him in each session, tailoring them to his needs and making it easy for him to understand. She is absolutely amazing and I’d give her 10 stars if I could!!

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Specialised Speech Pathology. The sessions are engaging, effective, and tailored to my son's needs. The team goes above and beyond to ensure progress and success. There is a relaxed familiar vibe with our therapist, feedback is provided at every session and support to continue with the therapies outside of the sessions.

At the beginning of my journey, I was nervous.. I came across this company and spoke with Tasha she listened to me from the very beginning and genuinely took the time to understand what I needed. She matched me with Abby, and it truly was the perfect fit. Abby has been nothing short of incredible. She is supportive, patient, and creates such a safe space to grow. I have always felt heard, understood, and encouraged in our sessions. Her guidance has helped build my confidence and made a real difference in my communication. I’m so grateful to be working with her and can’t recommend them both highly enough.

When my son was 3, we were told he needed speech therapy. He has osteogenesis imperfecta and some developmental delay, and at that time the only people who could understand him were my husband and me. He was still mostly babbling, and I felt scared and overwhelmed about what that meant for his future. With the right guidance, we were able to access NDIS funding and were connected with Specialised Speech Pathology — and that’s when things started to change for us. From our very first conversation, Tashi was amazing. The beginning was rough; my son didn’t want to cooperate and sessions were challenging. But Tashi always seemed to know exactly how to support him. She was patient, kind, and incredibly understanding. She never gave up on him. Over time, he built a beautiful connection with her, and we began to see real progress. When Tashi went on leave, she thoughtfully referred us to some of her colleagues. Every therapist we met was warm, patient, and caring. Although my son found it hard to connect again at first, everything changed when he met Hannah. He was still a little hesitant, but he formed a bond with her — and since then, he has truly thrived. What stands out most about Specialised Speech Pathology is their commitment to finding the right fit for each child. They genuinely care. The patience, encouragement, and consistent support they have shown our son has made such a difference, not only in his speech but in his confidence as well. We are so grateful for the progress he has made and for the incredible team who supported him every step of the way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

So many providers take quite a while to organise timeslots and get started. Specialised Speech had everything organised over the phone and a couple of emails super fast. I love that they lined my son up with someone that suited our timeslot - the Zoom speech sessions work fabulous, at his level and he's never ever once said "I don't want to do this" he's always engaged and willing to join. Really great company to work with.

Tasha Bea is a kind, friendly and experienced speech pathologist who provides services for my brother in a way that helps him gain confidence and independence. It's wonderful to have met Tasha, and we're happy to continue working with her.
