SatyAbility Community Support is a small, founder-led disability support provider based in Templestowe, Victoria, working with individuals and families across Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The organisation supports NDIS participants with support coordination, personal activities and daily living tasks at home or in shared living, transport, household and gardening help, social and community participation, centre-based group programs, personal training and supported independent living.
Support is delivered where the participant lives, with workers matched to each person's preferences, personality and needs. The team speaks English, Mandarin and Farsi and provides translated materials for participants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and staff are trained in trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity. SatyAbility began after founder Nas spent eight years working with children and adults with disabilities, and the name derives from the word satya, meaning truth.
