Exercise Physiology at RevoPT RevoPT Exercise Physiology provides personalised, evidence-based exercise programs for people managing injuries, chronic health conditions, disability, reduced mobility or changes in physical capacity. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists use exercise as a clinical intervention to help you move more confidently, improve strength and fitness, manage symptoms and regain independence. Every program is tailored to your current abilities, medical history, goals and stage of recovery.
Who can benefit? Exercise Physiology may be appropriate for people managing: * Musculoskeletal injuries and persistent pain * Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis or reduced bone density * Diabetes and other metabolic conditions * Cardiovascular or respiratory conditions * Neurological and neuromuscular conditions * Disability or reduced functional capacity * Balance concerns or increased falls risk * Post-surgical rehabilitation * Workplace or motor vehicle injuries * Deconditioning following illness, injury or inactivity * A return to exercise after an extended break What to expect Your initial consultation includes a detailed discussion of your health history, current symptoms, physical capacity and personal goals.
Where appropriate, your Exercise Physiologist will complete movement, strength, balance, mobility or cardiovascular assessments. From there, you will receive an individualised exercise plan designed to be safe, practical and progressive. Your sessions may include strength training, mobility work, balance exercises, cardiovascular conditioning and functional movements relevant to your daily life. Your program will be regularly reviewed and adjusted as your capacity improves.
With your consent, our team can also communicate with your GP, specialist, physiotherapist or other allied health professionals to support a coordinated approach to your care. A supportive clinical environment Our South Melbourne studio provides a welcoming and professionally supervised environment for people who may not feel comfortable exercising in a traditional gym. We focus on helping you understand what your body can do, rather than simply focusing on its limitations.
Our goal is to provide the structure, education and confidence you need to make exercise a sustainable part of your health management. Depending on your needs, sessions may be delivered individually or through an appropriate small-group pathway.
