Redstone Psychology is a team of psychologists offering assessment and treatment for adults, children, adolescents and their families. Its work has two main components: assessment, which can include formal cognitive or behavioural assessments or a more informal formulation of the case, and treatment, which aims to produce changes or reduce the suffering a person is experiencing. The practice works with anxiety, depression and mood difficulties, childhood trauma, PTSD and other trauma-related issues, behavioural problems, anger issues, grief and loss, and coping with divorce, family problems and life transitions.
It describes a warm, holistic and collaborative approach, taking time to listen and develop a treatment plan that individuals and families are comfortable with. Neurodevelopmental assessments are also available, and a therapist and social worker on the team offers creative therapies and EMDR.
