Nigel Support Services Pty Ltd is a family-owned NDIS registered provider based in Yarrabilba, supporting participants across Logan and surrounding areas including Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. The name comes from two of the family's eldest grandchildren, Moroni and Angel, and the business was built from lived experience of supporting family members with autism, heart disease and communication differences. Support starts with listening.
Each participant is matched with a regular support worker and a backup, and the team arranges a meet-and-greet before supports begin. The team works across community access and social outings, everyday living assistance and personal care, wheelchair-accessible transport, and mentoring and life skills that build confidence and independence. Practical experience covers autism (ASD), Dravet syndrome, epilepsy and seizures, cerebral palsy, PEG feeding and medication, and electric and manual wheelchair support, with support workers holding a Blue Card, Yellow Card, first aid and CPR.
Transport is provided in a wheelchair-accessible van with a ramp, and support workers use their own vehicles for community access. Registered supports cover accommodation and tenancy assistance, assistance to access and maintain employment or higher education, specialised supported employment, life-stage and transition support, assistance with personal activities, daily tasks in shared living, travel and transport, innovative community participation, development of daily living and life skills, household tasks, community, social and civic participation, and group and centre based activities.
Participants, families, plan managers and support coordinators are welcome to enquire, and support availability is discussed individually so the provider and the participant can decide whether it is the right fit.
