Nextt is a leading Australian provider of services that empower people with disability to get more out of life. With over 1800 staff and services across NSW, QLD, SA and VIC, we provide quality support to more than 1500 clients each year. Over the last 20 years we have built a strong service that specialises in supporting people with a broad range of disabilities including autism, psycho-social disability, cognitive support needs, high physical support needs and Acquired Brain Injury.

We have developed communities of practice to support our staff and clients with specific skill and support requirements. Our focus is on person centred active support to assist each person to get more out of life. Nextt provides individualised person centred supports that help people with disability and/or mental health to meet their goals and become more independent.

I've been a client of Nextt since 2015. They look after all my personal care – they took over the company who previously did it – while I've also had a house cleaner with them for a longer time. The people I have, who come into my home and who do all the organising, are wonderful people. I also have a coordinator who helps me with NDIS. She's very good, devoted, and I ring her and she fixes anything I need fixed. The only slight thing they could make simpler is their rostering system. Rosters start on Monday, but I don't get a copy till Tuesday. Maybe they could distribute it on the Friday before. But other than that, I couldn't be more pleased. Everyone is very dedicated to the job and my carers are like my family. There's great harmony in this house with them coming into my home. Everything runs like clockwork. .

My son is a client of Nextt, receiving a coordinator of support, while he's also had 1-on-1 budgeting and shopping assistance. They're really quick to respond to enquries and have also helped out with plan review meetings. Staff are really friendly and supportive. There's never been cause for complaint. I'd highly recommend them!

I have been with Nextt for 4 years and absolutely love every day with them. When I joined Nextt I was feeling very depressed and lost and didn't know what to do with my life. Nextt have been a big saviour for me in regards to all my mental health issues. They have empowered me to do something with my life and have gone above and beyond to help me with my mental health issues when I was in my darkest hour. I am the man today because of all the wonderful people at Nextt. Including my support workers. During my recovery from my latest episode with the darkness I decided to take up movie reviews because I thought it would be a great active distraction from my negative thoughts and feelings. I am still doing the movie reviews and I absolutely love it!! When I joined Nextt 4 years ago my long term goal was to live independently and I achieved this goal a couple of months ago. This is without question the best decision I ever made joining Nextt.

I've used NEXTT for a few years. We call them Angel care. The service is good. We have respite 11 months. My kids get one on one which they love.

SA Review Nextt supports a family member of mine who lives in one of their houses. We really like how the house is set up, the way it's been built and the service. It's been the answer to our prayers. My family member has been there now for a few years. Living in the community just wasn't working, my family member didn't have the right supports at all. Now everything is going so much better for him. He's safe, well looked after, he gets decent meals, and his personal care has improved amazingly. Whenever I deal with the house manager, they communicate well with me and my family, and they're really professional. They even inform us about ways to get better funding for our family member. Nextt is an ideal fit for us – there aren't any gaps.

I'm also a case manager and have recommended NEXTT a few times to people I have worked with. I have found them extremely responsive and from an administration perspective, very good. They, like many care agencies, have had troubles filling some of the larger programs. For one person I worked with, they offered to partner with another agency to pool the carers. Between the two agencies they managed to fill shifts a lot easier than with just the one. They communicated really well between each other and the process worked quite well. I also found that they communicate well with the families - unlike a lot of other agencies who, when a case manager is involved, tend to avoid this.

As a case manager, I used this service for a number of my clients. On an organisational level, all of the invoices and shift changes were always noted and correct, so I never had to chase things up. They had great systems for covering shifts, and ensuring my clients weren't missing out. I also found the service staff very friendly and personable. Any time I had to call the office to change/check something, they were always polite, and had the information I needed (even if they weren't the person I spoke with last time!). Thanks for providing such a great service guys - keep it up!
