ND Perspective is a family-owned, neurodivergent-affirming allied health clinic in Wangara, supporting autistic children, teens and adults through practical, compassionate and family-centred therapy. We work with NDIS participants and families who are looking for support that feels respectful, clear and genuinely helpful. Our team provides: β Psychology β Positive Behaviour Support β Occupational Therapy β Speech Pathology We have a particular focus on supporting autistic and neurodivergent people, including children and teens who may be experiencing emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, school difficulties, social communication differences, sensory needs, behavioural concerns, or challenges with daily life and independence.
At ND Perspective, we understand that no two people or families are the same. Our approach is personalised, strengths-based and practical. We take time to understand each participantβs goals, communication style, sensory preferences, family context and support needs, so therapy feels meaningful and relevant to real life. Our owner is neurodivergent herself, and the mum for an AuDHD teen with school refusal, so understands exactly what it's like to be a parent in this space, navigating the challenges of the NDIS.
What makes us different: πΏ Neurodivergent-affirming approach We support autistic and neurodivergent people without trying to βfixβ who they are. Our goal is to help participants feel understood, build confidence, develop skills and access the right supports for their life. π¨βπ©βπ§ Family-centred support We work closely with parents, carers, support coordinators, schools and other providers, so everyone around the participant has clearer strategies and shared understanding.
We also never forget that families and individuals are the experts in their own care and needs. π‘ Local Wangara clinic We support families across Wangara and surrounding northern suburbs, with services available in clinic and, where suitable, in community, school or home settings. We have a full OT gym and lovely therapy rooms on site, but also visit home, school and community. 𧩠Multidisciplinary team Because we offer Psychology, Positive Behaviour Support, OT and Speech Pathology, families may be able to access more coordinated support in one place.
π¬ Practical strategies, not just reports We aim to provide support that families can actually use day to day. This may include strategies for emotional regulation, communication, routines, sensory needs, behaviour support, confidence, relationships and daily living skills. We may be a good fit if you are looking for: β’ Autism-focused therapy support β’ NDIS-funded allied health services β’ Psychology for autistic children, teens or adults with immediate availability β’ Positive Behaviour Support with immediate availability β’ OT or Speech Pathology support β’ A team that understands neurodivergence and works respectfully with families β’ Support that is warm, practical and focused on real-life outcomes from people with lived experience Our mission is to help neurodivergent people and their families feel more supported, more understood and more confident navigating everyday life.
