National Care Society is a disability service provider owned and operated in Cairns. Founded by directors with a combined 17 or more years of specialist nursing experience, it delivers nursing in the home, personal care, cleaning, community connection, support coordination, supported accommodation and short-term respite. Support is provided in participants' homes and in the community, and the organisation runs supported accommodation houses. A multicultural team tailors care to traditions, language preferences and faith-based needs, and a Family Liaison Coordinator works with Centacare FNQ on NDIS access. Free face-to-face consultations help participants and carers understand the scheme.
