delivering trauma-informed, neuroaffirming and person-centred disability services. Its service approach emphasises human rights, dignity, participant choice, independence and quality of life, supported by values including compassion, integrity, respect, professionalism, collaboration and continuous learning. Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a major area of MSC’s practice. Services include functional behaviour assessments, behavioural and risk assessments, environmental assessment, data collection and analysis, interim and comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, positive behaviour support strategies, restrictive-practice reduction planning, participant and family consultation, stakeholder engagement, program reviews and behaviour-support recommendations.
Disability support services complement MSC’s clinical work. Support workers assist participants with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks, as well as community participation, appointments, education, employment and recreation. The objective is to build independence, wellbeing, skills and community participation while maintaining participant choice and self-determination. MSC also offers training and workforce capability development.
Its Applied Positive Behaviour Support Training Program is aimed at NDIS providers and practitioners and covers assessment, Behaviour Support Plan development, implementation fidelity and restrictive-practice reduction. Organisational programs can include customised training, compliance workshops, templates, consultation, governance alignment, policy review and executive-level briefings.
