We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation supporting autistic people and their families. We have recently moved and are thrilled to be providing supports and services from our brand new 100 acre therapeutic care farm. Our farm has a new school building, retreat cabins, skill building stay houses, a meeting hut, a multipurpose activity centre, farm animals, a perimeter walking track and lots of wildlife. Our key services include: Skill Building Stays: Our highly individualised Skill Building Stay combines structure, low-arousal supports, and embedded therapeutic strategies to stabilise behaviour and build lasting skills.
It also involves intensive family training. Branching Out : Respite farm stays for autistic young adults aged 18 to 25 years. Designed to empower young adults and support carers. We offer consistent routines, predictable environments and autism strategies to support young people. Sprout : Sprout offers a chance to try a range of autism strategies in a supported environment. It is a short, intensive program for autistic children and their families, delivered by highly trained autism practitioners and support workers.
Allied Health : Our Allied Health team specialise in autism and help autistic children and adults develop functional communication skills and increase their capacity in functional life tasks. We offer speech therapy and occupational therapy. Respite : Our respite is delivered in a structured, supportive environment that helps children regulate. Our goal is to support the child to feel regulated and to develop a consistent daily rhythm across 24 hours.
Mansfield Autism Practitioner : The Mansfield Autism Practitioner (MAP) in-home service is a transdisciplinary in-home behaviour support model delivering support at the key times for families: mealtimes, transitions from school, morning routines, sleep routines and self-care. We specialise in autism and accept all autistic children and young adults. Our multidisciplinary team includes Behaviour Support Practitioners, Allied Health Practitioners and Support Workers.
We aim to build the family’s confidence and understanding of autism. We empower families to use evidence based strategies and supports for their child.
