Macarthur Disability Services is a not-for-profit community organisation formed in 1982 that supports people with disability, mental illness, older people, families and carers. It employs more than 300 staff across South Western Sydney, including the Macarthur, Southern Highlands and Liverpool districts. Supports include occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics, psychology and exercise physiology for children and adults, behaviour intervention support, support coordination and one-on-one help at home and in the community.
Group programs run from activity bases in the region, and weekend respite is offered at accessible sites. Employment pathways include school leaver supports and a workplace training program at an Ingleburn hub.
