i'ara Specialist Support Coordination is the trading name of Iara Support Services Pty Ltd, a women-led organisation founded in Cairns in 2018 that now works from remote communities to metropolitan centres across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. It provides NDIS Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination, and also coordinates supports for people funded through WorkCover, TAC and NIISQ. Its coordinators support participants with complex needs, including psychosocial disability, acquired brain injury, and people leaving hospital or involved with the justice system.
