hdL Group is a family-owned business that handles NDIS participant funding under the name hdL Bookkeeping and NDIS Plan Management, working across every Australian state and territory. Belinda and Stephan van der Lit started it after their own family's NDIS experience, drawing on backgrounds in bookkeeping and business management consulting. Plan management is the only NDIS service it delivers, an arrangement the business describes as keeping it free of any vested interest in other supports.
The work covers guidance on plans, budgets and pricing arrangements, conformance checks of invoices against a participant's plan, invoice processing and record keeping with a secure audit trail, payment requests to the NDIA, and monthly reports showing spend rates and forecast end-of-plan balances. The team follows the plan management guidelines and the Code of Conduct, and belongs to Disability Intermediaries Australia.
