Gellibrand Support Services is a not-for-profit disability support organisation that began in the late 1970s, when a group of families identified a need for more disability services in Melbourne's western suburbs. It formed in 1999 through the combination of Urimbirra and Crana, and took its current name in 2008. The organisation supports people with physical and intellectual disabilities through supported independent living and specialist disability accommodation, short term accommodation and assistance, one-to-one individual support packages, day activities run from hubs in Ravenhall and Williamstown, and two levels of support coordination.
Individual support and support coordination are delivered across Melbourne's western and northern suburbs, and all team members are screened through police, working with children and disability worker exclusion checks.
