Freedom Prosthetics is proud to provide a quality prosthetic service to the amputee community of Cairns and Far North Queensland. Amputees can look forward to our unique collaboration between patient and prosthetist allowing us a better understanding of the challenges of lower and upper limb clinical care on an individual basis. Neil Greening is a co-founder of Freedom Prosthetics. He is an amputee himself and knows first hand the trials and tribulations of losing a limb which has made him passionate and dedicated about providing an excellent service to the amputee community.
Our prosthetist, Cuan Ashton holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics from La Trobe University in Melbourne. He has the necessary skills and experience for our state of the art technology in using 3D Scanner and an Omega® 3D Carving machine. We have the support from the leaders in prosthetic component manufacturing from Ohio Willow Wood, OSSUR, Otto Block, Freedom Innovations and distributors in Australia gives us an extensive line up of upper and lower limb prosthetic solutions, regardless of the level of amputation or activity of the amputee.
