Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation for people with very high support needs. SIL covers personal care, household tasks, life-skills building and supervision matched to the plan; SDA housing spans several accessibility categories.

Short Term Accommodation, also called respite, gives participants a break from their usual home for a few hours, overnight or up to a couple of weeks depending on the plan. Support can include personal care, overnight assistance and community access.

Home modifications make a home safer and easier to use. The team consults on design and funding and works with participants and relevant professionals on changes such as handheld showers, grab rails, threshold ramps and level-access showers.

Travel assistance so participants can reach appointments, shopping, work, community activities and visits with family and friends. Support workers travel alongside participants, help build confidence on public transport and coordinate suitable vehicles.

Daily living support at home from support workers, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility, meal preparation and help with eating. One-to-one assistance is also available in shared or independent living, with cleaning, laundry and gardening.

Meal preparation support at home from support workers, as part of everyday living assistance. Workers help participants plan and cook meals and give help with eating where that forms part of the funded support.
