Empowered Project is an Adelaide-based provider of specialist and forensic support coordination for NDIS participants whose psychosocial needs are complex. Its coordinators work with people who have forensic involvement, several service systems in play, or significant barriers to independence, and liaise with the NDIS, clinical, justice and community services, correctional facilities and housing providers. Support is delivered at Levels 2 and 3, with adjacent help that includes mentoring for people leaving custody, crisis and risk planning, joint case management with other agencies, and systems advocacy.
