At Doing it Different (DiD) our goal is to uphold individual human rights and provide people with opportunities to achieve their goals and aspirations. We do this by providing quality and ethical support to ensure each person is at the centre of all decision making. Tania has over 30 years sector experience and is a qualified Developmental Educator, with expertise across a wide range of areas having worked extensively in Government service provision, the NDIA Scheme Implementation and as a provider of services in community settings.
Tania has a personal connection to mental health supports and a deep understanding of legislation, person centred approaches and experience across all areas of disability. We know what works and what does not work well, and what it takes to be a great service provider. DiD is passionate about bringing together knowledge and experience to support people to live on their own terms, and to be genuinely connected and included in the fabric of community.
Areas of expertise, focus and passion: Assisting people with acquired brain injury and physical and neurological conditions; Strong foundations and experience working in human rights and person centred frameworks; Assisting people with complex mental health experiences; Working with people with ASD and intellectual disability; Assisting people working towards greater independence; LGBTIQA+ services, including working with trans, nonbinary and gender diverse people, and those with intersex variations; Assisting those with traumatic histories; Aged care services.
