Disability Plan Services is an NDIS plan management and support coordination provider based in Queensland, founded by director Alexandra Shaw after her own family experience of disability. The team of plan managers and support coordinators pays providers on a participant's behalf, keeps records and tracks budgets, reports on spending, and helps participants choose providers and prepare for plan reviews. Support coordinators help participants understand and implement their plan, connect with a network of supports, negotiate service agreements and resolve issues with providers.
A specialist support coordination stream serves people with complex needs, including households where more than one family member lives with disability. The provider works from offices in bayside Brisbane, Toowoomba and Hervey Bay and travels to participants when required.
