The support coordinator I have through CoAbility has been excellent. I was referred to them by another service when they closed. There has been no concern at all. From where I stand, the support coordination has been absolutely vital in supporting my son with his NDIS package. There is no way I could have done it alone or without them. The NDIS has been wonderful in the extent and range of support it offers people with disability. I'm so grateful to our support coordinator who has been integral to the full implementation of my sons plan.

I am happy with the service, with my coordinator helping me arrange cleaning and food plans. However, I have a very large budget and was wondering why it took so long to find a gym. The one I was recommended was impossible to get to, so I’m setting that up myself. I am also worried sick about my CPAP machine and am told different things, while I also have a budget for life improvements but time is running out and I have not been out of the house at all. I’m a tad frustrated at the length of time all of this and other things are taking. Every I ask for seems to have a ‘no’ at the end of the sentence. My partner had his interview with the same coordinator and was dissatisfied with the outcome, with the coordinator talking about his own personal things. Our needs are meant to be taken care of. I’m told I’m difficult to get in touch with, but my phone doesn’t have any incoming calls. I truly hope that I’m not being a whiner, because that is not meant to be the case, but now I know that things should not take as long as they do.

Our support coordinator has been very helpful and has explained everything so it was easy to understand.

The support coordinator is caring, a good listener and always does her best to find the right service providers. Saying this she does give us options/suggestions before making a decision. From the start we felt comfortable with her and enjoyed talking to her. She is professional yet down to earth. So happy we met her.

My experience and families experience with this agency has been nothing but appalling. There has been a lack of contact from the company and upon leaving, it was brought to my attention that my NDIS plan had had extra transactions drawn from it that weren’t accounted for. We felt left in the dark and in turn missed out on accessing people that could help us sooner. This company wasted my time and funding.

The manager of CoAbility is very welcoming, knowledgeable and extremely willing to meet people where they are at. She is a great champion of inclusivity, and the rights of individuals to live a life of their choosing. I’m sure her staff will be similarly passionate about the work they do, supporting people who have disabilities.
