Avenues Disability & Lifestyle Support Services is a not-for-profit incorporated association providing disability supports in Gympie and the surrounding Wide Bay region of Queensland. The organisation began in 1976 as a parent support group of thirty local families and became an incorporated association in 1993. It now supports more than 30 people with disability with a team of over 40 staff. Supports include 24-hour in-home assistance with household tasks, personal care, exercise and transport, one-to-one community access, supported independent living, short-term accommodation and respite, and plan management.
Short-term accommodation is provided in the organisation's respite homes, and round-the-clock on-call support backs all services. The association holds NDIS Practice Standards certification through HDAA.
