About Allied Health Association

New South Wales

We provides specialist behaviour support for children, adolescents, and adults with a range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay, intellectual disability, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. The service focuses on reducing behaviours of concern by developing individualised strategies that promote communication, independence, and wellbeing. Support is provided through home visits in the Canterbury-Bankstown, Liverpool, and St George local government areas.

The approach is evidence-based and person-centred, with support plans developed in collaboration with families, carers, and other members of the person’s support team. Services include behaviour assessments, development of positive behaviour support plans, implementation guidance, carer and staff training, and ongoing monitoring and review. The service aims to improve daily functioning and quality of life by addressing the environmental and personal factors contributing to challenging behaviour.
