In the middle of 2021, and with the collaboration of Allcare Community Services in SA, an entirely new initiative was launched in Victoria to further increase the scope of youth support under the umbrella of Allcare Youth Services Victoria. The strong framework created by Allcare Youth Services Victoria since its inception, is to be able to provide quality mentoring support to young people in the 7 to 25 year old age range who have been granted NDIS support.
Our NDIS Support Workers/Mentors are responsible for supporting and empowering young people who live with disability to lead a meaningful life, and to participate in their community in a way they choose to. This also involves preparing, monitoring and reviewing each individual’s goals as per their NDIS Plan to ensure person-centered supports are always delivered, and that the young person’s goals are identified and are being achieved. As this initiative is now growing rapidly, Allcare Youth Services Victoria has the capacity to assist young people on an NDIS plan now with quality, caring and compassionate mentors that help empower each young person, increase their skills and capacity and reach their chosen goals.
