Absolute Disability Services SA is a small South Australian NDIS support provider led by founder Colleen Barrow, who spent 36 years building a professional cleaning business before moving into the disability sector about fifteen years ago. The team delivers in-home support and assistance with daily living, one-to-one mentoring, and respite that gives carers a break at home or in the community. Social and community participation support helps people attend appointments and activities and build local connections.
Six regular group programs run as well: excursions, walking groups, cooking classes, arts and crafts, bowling and a weight loss group. Specialist work covers practitioner-led planning around behaviour, built on functional assessments, psychosocial recovery coaching and support coordination for complex plans. A cleaning service draws on that same cleaning background and works with private households and businesses as well as NDIS participants.
